can we acknowledge that this was absolutely disgusting? She forced herself on him and he was not comfortable, clearly seen in his body-language. In front of thousands of people. And then he was left on-stage, forced to laugh it off even though he’d just been assualted because men aren’t allowed to complain.

Another reason I’m a feminist. Because male victims aren’t taken seriously, especially when it’s a female perpetrator. 

Also Madonna is 56 years old. Drake is 28. If a 56 year old man kissed a 28 year old woman like that, a lot more people would be disgusted by this.

The vanity fair article you posted here mentions a TMZ article about how he was reacting to her lipstick. The article in question says that the kiss was not planned. Drake is allowed to have liked the kiss. There is nothing wrong with that. What is wrong is that Madonna kissed him without telling him that she was planning it beforehand. That’s sexual assault.

The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines sexual assault as “force upon a person without consent.” The kiss wasn’t planned. Madonna never got consent from Drake. Saying that he was okay with it and he loved it AFTER the kiss happened does not change the fact that he did not give consent. And that’s the problem.

In short even if Drake liked the kiss it’s still assault.
